I wasn't disappointed as I found a couple of moths which gave me a chance to try out a new Panasonic camera I purchased as my Xmas treat, mainly to take larval food plants and site views but in truth I really need to try a little harder as the results were in the 1 out of 10 bracket.
I then reverted back to my EOS 70 camera and couldn't remember how the damn thing worked, but only for a while, but it was a strange feeling seeing as I'm using it all through the season.
The underpass had like hanging rain from the ceiling so i wasn't expecting much and that about what I had,not much, just a single each of Dotted border and Winter moth, but it was a start,a rather late start for me.
I still have 15 write-ups to do including a new moth photo that Tim gave me yesterday of the rare Reed Leopard. See at http://www.lepi-photos.com/003reed-leopard.html
You might have noticed a text change which can be done at the flick of a button and which changes all website pages at a stroke. For the record its "Montserrat"
I hope all you leps lovers have a great season and look forward to all your reports but dont forget to record them with your local BC branch.
All the very best
Colin
