Having said all this the maximums recorded over the two nights are Brimstone Moth 1,Iron Prominent 2,Common Pug 2,May Highflyer 1, Lesser Swallow Prominent 1,Buff-tip 2, Nut-tree Tussock 1, Poplar Hawk-moth 1, Treble Lines 1,Light Brocade 2, Flame Shoulder 1, Shuttle-shaped Dart 2 & Peppered Moth 2.
For me that means another 4 new moths for the website which is fine by me.
The first moth is the Common Pug easily identified by the dotted white subterminal lines on the forewings and the two sets of white spots on the tornus of the forewing and the hindwing which can be clearly seen even in this worn specimen.
