I cant remember the full catch but it went something like this:-
Seraphim 1, Iron Prominent 1,Pebble Prominent 1, Clouded-bordered Brindle 1(new for website) Scalloped Hazel 1 (new for website) Poplar Grey 1 (new for website) other Im afraid I have forgotten as I couldn't cope at the time.
I had a little walk in the garden and noticed that the mint now occupies quite a large area of the coner planned and right on cue Pyrausta aurata, the Mint Moth are in good numbers showing up against the pink spiked Bistorta superbum.Another thrill is the micro Plutella porrectella which was perched in a beautiful position for a shot but alas I couldnt stoop that low.One again this year the Sweet Rocket Hesperis matronalis has produced this little moth.
I have seen whites depositing on the Hedge Mustard and other nondescript wild Brassicas.
Hope you enjoy the blog
All the best
