I have been busy during the colder months adding a second page to the specie pages to add the taxonomy including forms, abberations and subspecies, something that is still ongoing and will be for some time especially as new species appear on the website when the weather permits.
You may ask why am I adding this for a second time having already carried out some of the work under the families sections and my only honest answer is it gives the reader a chance to look at an entire family or just read what is applicable to an individual species.
Either way, more will always be better than less and give flexibility to the visitor.
Today at South Warnborough I saw my first "lep" of the year and for once it was not difficult to identify the aptly named "Early Moth"
In the glamour stakes it wont be on the podium, but I'm sure you all feel like me that the first one coming round the bend into a new year is always going to give extra buzz and today was no exception.
Nice to have a reason to do a blog after such a long break and I hope it not long before you are all feeling the same way.
My best to you all
Colin
