I decided to explore some of my old haunts around Fleet Pond today and was surprised and delighted by the conservation work that has been carried out.For sure the future for this beautiful pond is exciting for all those lucky enough to live in the area.
On the way home I looked at one of my usual places to see if any moths were about and was stunned to find this Spring Usher,my first.
The larvae feed on Oak
As a new moth for me I must consider it to be a good start to the season so lets hope it continues.
