Similar Species -
Overwinters as: Larva
Observations: The similar species P.truaniana has a plae yellow dorsal patch which is more evenly curved and no distinct angle along the margins,but sometimes with one or two angles meeting the dorsum near the tornus.The costal streaks are pale yellow and more pronounced than this moth. Gentalia identification might be necessary to separate these two species.
Occasionally comes to light.
