Observation: The E.campoliliana is a distinctive white(sometimes tinged grey)base colour moth with a black dorsal mark at about one third and another dorsal black mark tinged with orange at about three quarters along the wing. The ocellus is contains two or three black dashes.
The costa has a reddish brown marks along the wing with black marks near the apex.
The moth can be disturbed from vegetation during the day, but normally flies from late evening and is attracted to light.
