Observations: The main diagnostic feature of this moth is the brown median band which divides half way across the forewing .The forewing is broad with rounded costa, tapering towards the apex.The background colour varies between light to dark grey-brown with a subtermial line in white which stops at what appears to be faded apial stripes in the same colour. The basal line is thin,wavy and brown.Dark brown,almost black venation appears randomly across the forewing.
The moth flies at dusk and sometimes is attracted to the moth trap.
