Observations: The variable ground colour of the forewigs ranges between,light reddish,brown,greyish or pink tinged or even darker.The stigmata and orbicular spot are well highlighted with darker perimeter and in the case of the former a black prominent mark to the dorsum side of the stigmata.
Cross lines tend to vary in intensity and are usually wavy although the most prominent of these is the subterminal line which is reddish and edged with a lighter yellowish line.Hindwing is grey with broad brownish- white wedge along front edge.
Moth is attracted to both light and sugar.
