Observations: Although similar to A.lithoxyaea this moth is generally darker,slightly shorter,broader and with a less pointed apex.The reddish-brown wedges on the outer edge and the solid bar through the centre of the median area define this moth. The ground colour varies from whitish to reddish straw.
The moth is attracted to sugar and is attracted to light after dusk often appearing at the moth trap in good numbers.
