Description

Similar Species -
Overwinters as: Small larva
Observations: Forewing is yellow with reddish brown net like pattern covering and a cross line that is angled to the costa before rising at the centre of the wing only to angle back to the dorsum forming a letter "W". As in photo one there is a dark blackish dorsal blotch adjacent to this cross line in some specimens.
There is a dark brown prominent terminal line which rounds at the apex before retreating back along the costa.
Moth is attracted to light where it can appear in reasonable numbers
