UK Distribution: Common throughout much of the British Isles,although local in north and not northern Scotland

Overwinters as: Ovum
Observations: The forewing is yellowish brown to reddish brown and paler in the basal area and apex and a white triangular mark on the costa just beyond half.
The moth is easily disturbed during the day,flies at dusk and is attracted to light.
