Observations: Darker species of P.conwagana are similar to this moth but have yellowish cilia as apposed to the yellow terminal band of this moth.
The moth is blackish brown with metallic grey and bluish grey scales. The moth has a series of yellowish brown blotches both on the costa and in many cases the dorsum also.
The moth flies at dusk and is attracted to light.
