UK Distribution: Very rare migrant with only two southern England records

Observations: Only two record sightings for this moth occured at Dorney Reach in BUckinghamshire during the great summer of August 1976 and a further record at Durlston Country Park Swanagae in Dorset on 4 JUly 2001.
The moth is slightly larger than the Fan-foot but with an identifying luna shaped central wing marking which distinguishes the Jubilee Fan-foot from any other of the subfamily herminiinae.
The wings are light brown to red-brown sometimes with a purplish tinge. The postpedial line is gently scalloped with this moth,slightly irregular with Fan-foot and less so in Dusky Fan-foot.
The moth is attracted to light.
