Description
Vernacular Name: Marbled Yellow Pearl

Worldwide Distribution: Europe - excluding (Ireland and most Mediterranean Islands) : eastwards to Japan : Turkey
UK Distribution: Local in parts of East Anglia,Thames Estuary and southern coastal counties as a migrant
UK Conservation Status -
Habitat: Coastal Habitat : Chalk and Calcareous soil Downland

Observations: The forewings are pale yellow to straw with antemedian and postmedian cross lines made up of rusty coloured dashes and dots.Terminal band is darker brown with short brown apical streaks.Stigmata usually faint appearing as rusty brown rings.
