Observations: The moth is straw coloured with curved light brown cross-lines, the subterminal one being darkest, and pointed forewings. On the antemedial cross-line at there is a dark brown spot and adjacent to the costa a feint elongated orbicular spot.
The larvae feed on varieties of brassica,forming a silk web,where in certain circumstances they can become a pest to the gardener.
The moth is attracted to light and can be found at the moth trap,usually in small numbers.
