Observations: A species expanding its range either by accidental introduction or by migration with the aid of global warming.The fact that most recorded specimens appear in houses,garden centres and glass houses would point towards introduction on cultivated plants. As can be seen below the larva feeds on a wide variety of house plants or food plants causing considerable damage, making it a pest in some areas.
There is to date no evidence the moth is breeding in Great Britain
