Similar Species -
Observations: Most coleophora species are similar and rely on small differences or genitalia examination to separate. With this moth the upper margin of the eye is edged yellow,see photo 1.The antennae is blackish,becoming whitish towards the apex.The forewing is thin and elongate with a metallic golden green sheen towards the apex.This feature is more prominent in the female.
The moth is attracted to light and flies in sunshine.
