Observations: A very unmistakeable and distinctive micro moth it has a ruddy brown forewing with costal white stripe nearly to the apex of the wng and dorsum white stripe that finishes at the termen.
The moth has a white head with two vertical appendages just before the antenae which are usually placed flat over the forewings.
At first sight this moth could be mistaken for one of the crambid grass moths.
Can be disturbed frm host plant during the day and is attracted to light.
