Observations: Having been first recorded in Britain in Kent (1951) this moth, which is common throughout South East England, is now expanding its range northwards.
This beautiful micro moth has a forewing ground colour in orange/yellow with basal area,median fascia and pre-apial patches in brownish-black.
The moth is attracted to light.
