Observations: The forewing is shades of light and darker brown with a white dorsal streak interrupted by a prominent brown fascia which is set at about 45º to dorsum.The similar species A.bonnetella differs by having the dark brown fascia set at about 30º but with very similar markings including the white dorsal streak.
Moth flies at dusk and is attracted to light.
