Similar Species -
Observations: Although similar to the common S.costella, this moth is both larger and is separated by thin black apical streak,missing on similar species.
The pale grey forewings are elongated and thin and pointed at the apex with a black triangular blotch located on the costa at about half way along the forewing.
The moth flies at night and is attracted to light.
