Observations: This moth is largest of the plain-coloured longhorn moths with antennae that are 2.5 times the forewing length in the male and nearly twice the length in the female.The forewing is a pale yellowish golden colour with an indistinct pattern. There are golden tufts above the head of the moth.
Although similar to this moth, N.schwarzielluss is slightly smaller and has a hint of a discal spot on the forewing and flies slightly later in the year.
The moth flies by day and is attracted to light.
