Observations: An extremely rare moth that is restricted to the coastal counties of South east England,considered to be a future pRBD Red Data Book moth.
The moth is orangey brown with a white patch centrally positioned along the dorsum with varying degrees of black and white spots and a black dash between the costa and postmedian line position.
The termen is black edged and the cilia are somewhat sinuate.
