Recently confirmed in Bulgaria.
The moth is recorded as a migrant as far north as Denmark where five have been recorded as it seems to be quickly expanding its range northwards.
Research suggests possible establishment along the milder micro-climates of the Thames estuary might be a possibility, like the many migrants before that are now established.
The moth is also described as an Afro-tropical species with mainly circum–tropical distribution, the photo below having been taken in Cuba.
