Description
Vernacular Name: Brown-barred Tortrix

Worldwide Distribution: Europe - less Portugal and some Mediterranean Islands

Observations: The moth has yellowish frown forewings with reddish brown speckling and a brown basal patch. There is a brown "V" shaped band across the median area which is widest at the dorsum.A square patch on the costa just before the apex completes the moth markings.
The wings are curved at the costa and the termen and the apex is pointed.
The moth flies and dawn and is attracted to light.
